" but instead I'm sitting backstage
" listening to Zibigniew Brizinski [SP?]
brzezinski iirc. don't ask.
" After reading Frank Swygert's post about adapting Generic Sending
" units to Ramblers and since I want to modify one anyway I'm going
" to go that route. I want to change the pickup over to at least
" 3/8", 1/2"" if I can find tubing that is suitable. I've been
" looking at the EFI pumps and they all have oversize pickups.
looking at in-tank units? i know the chance of finding one that'd fit
the rambler tank's hole wavers between 'slim' and 'none', but it'd be
a neat solution...
" I'm thinking of running 1/2" from the tank to a good filter unit
" that will accept the 1/2" and flow well, then go into the pump
" and drop it down to 3/8" This will let the pump draw easier in
" theory. I know some people have had problems with short lived
" external EFI pumps. I want to try and make it more reliable.
sounds good in theory at least.
" I found an electrical connector I was missing for the back of my
" 94 Alternator and have to extend the CPS harness for the Advance
" Adapters CPS. Luckily I have a 95 harness with the correct
" connector on the end. So I'm going to pull 24" of wire out of the
" 95 harness with the connector then extend the harness with it.
" That way, if I ever need to swap out the CPS it can be done with
" a stock sensor for a 95 instead of needing to splice it in and
" solder it. Which is what Advance Adapters wants done, YUCK!
are the '94 and '95 connectors actually different? i thought all ho
cps were the same.
