NAMDRA Meet

Hey group,

Just had to get my two cents in first. Well, as always, the meet was everything Jock promised it to be. GREAT weather, turnout and fun! IF you didn't make it, you missed it!!! You really missed it.

Nothing more fun than to see a large group of beautiful AMC's THEN, to see them racing down the quarter mile. Cordova Dragway appeared to be very accomondating and has done a great job at being a drag strip. Thanks to the club for their great program, free lunch on Friday (donations accepted and given). If that's not enough, then you can wander thru the car show and see some more beautiful cars. Then vendors doing their thing.

Anyway, I was lucky to have some help this weekend. Dennis stopped by the print shop a week or so ago and I hired him in. A great help at the shop and then came along to the show with me. This gave me time to get more photos of the drags for the 05 calendar. It was his first drag strip experience ever (at 30). He had a great time and was impressed. I told him on the way home the this was the was to start. Actually seeing the cars that no one else wants to admit that we ARE competative. He seen it first hand.

Anyway, don't miss it again!
