Dogleg 291c's on a 343 and question about a small chip in piston?

I have a brand new set of badger +.030 10.25 :01 compression pistons for my 343. One of them has a tiny pinhole/"pit" on the top adjacent to the .030 stamp on the piston, my builder looked at it said it won't be a problem but the rest of the pistons are perfect, what would you do?
Also the shop I am having the heads done at has a MINT set of 291c's from a 70' 390 that have been sitting on a shelf in the shop for years(they are down the street from a former AMC dealership now a jeep dealership), how well 291C's work on a 343, I could get these at a substantial savings over the edelbrock aluminum heads and might get a small bump in compression with them. I still think the edelbrocks are the way to go, but would like some input on how well a set of ported 291C's would work on a 343 as opposed to the much more expensive lighter edelbrocks.
